Biography:        Apollo was a stray kitty who was rescued by Safe Haven, an animal shelter in Williamsburg, IA.  They had him neutered, gave him all his shots, and then found out that he was positive for feline leukemia.  Since Safe Haven isn't set up to care for FeLV cats, Apollo came to live with us, in exchange for one of our non-retrovirus cats.  He was very bossy and talkative the first couple of days, but now has settled right in, and seems very tolerant of all his other roommates.  He comes up for petting, and lets us pick him up, but isn't quite a cuddler (yet!).   His ears look like they may have suffered from frostbite, and are not really pointed, but that just makes him all the more unique!
