Roofie

Biography: Roofie was a Cedar Rapids stray who was found hanging out and being fed by customers at a Red Roof Inn. Kathleen found out about her at an IHA event and got involved in her rescue. Sadly, the person who was willing to take her home changed his mind after Roofie tested positive for FeLV. So here she is. At first she didn't seem that excited about having roommates -- cat roommates that is. People were fine! But after a few weeks Roofie has settled in and found her place among the other cats. Roofie loves to be brushed and will roll over so you can get to all the hard places! She's quiet and non-demanding and low maintenance. In other words, perfect!
Update 7/17: Roofie is still not crazy about other cats, and spends a lot of time on her own. She is awesome with people though! We think she would LOVE to be the queen of someone's castle as a one-and-only cat! In spite of her virus, she has had no health problems since arriving at Witty Kitties. So if you are considering being a one-cat household, please come meet this charmer!
