Sponsored by Bryan Dryml and Ross and Jolene Peffer, Cedar Rapids, 09/15 - 10/15
Violet went over the rainbow bridge on 10/14/15 following a brief illness.  We're not positive about the cause of death, but the symptoms were consistent with an intestinal lymphoma.  The little sweetie was active and playful even on her last day with us.  So sad.

Biography:         Violet (and her sister Olivia) are from the Story County Animal Shelter.  Their mother, Cassy, came to Witty Kitties first, Violet and Olivia had to wait quite a while for an opening.  They were fostered when they were tiny kittens, but then they had to live in a cage for over 6 months.  Violet was a little more outgoing than Olivia when they first arrived, but it's very difficult to tell the two of them apart at this point.  We had to put a collar on Olivia in order to keep them straight!  They love playing together, and love having so much room to chase each other.  We're so happy they finally have a chance to do what cats do best -- play!
