Biography:          Galileo was dropped off at Witty Kitties after being found injured on the side of the road -- he had probably been hit by a car.  The initial evaluation indicated head injury and some sort of trauma to his left front leg, but Galileo was so hissy and scared Jenni couldn't really do a thorough exam.  It was a slow, gradual process for Galileo to learn to trust us, and eventually Jenni determined that he had nerve damage which left his leg useless.  He is still a little shy, but if you approach slowly he loves to be petted and will roll over for a tummy rub.  He can limp around on his leg and even manages to groom himself with it.   Most of us think he has the cutest kitty we've ever had, but that may be partly because of his "up periscope" maneuver when in his favorite cubby.  You must come meet him!!

Special Needs:  Nerve damage, left front leg
