Biography:         Diesel was rescued by a long-time Witty Kitties supporter in Iowa City.  He wandered into their garage and soon was cornered on a shelf by their dog.  The weather was turning frigid, so they brought him into the house and took him to their vet soon after.  Sadly, he tested positive for FeLV.  Diesel is a striking Siamese mix who is as lovable as can be.  He objected strenuously to being put in a haven when he first arrived, so we let him explore his new room and roommates immediately.  There were a few minor hisses, but within five minutes he was eating from a tray of canned food along with two of his roomies.  We think Diesel set the all-time speed record for acclimating to his new home!  He's in very good health and loves everyone he meets.  If you're looking for a laid-back kitty, Diesel's the one!!
