Biography:          Sydney came to us from PAWS & More in Washington, IA at about age 6 months.  She immediately took up residence with Skittles, hiding inside the recliner in their room.  So shy.  Sydney is gradually learning the ropes, and now comes out for wet food every morning, chowing down with the others.  If there are too many people around, she goes back into hiding.  It's a good sign that Sydney is not aggressive towards people, and she usually lets herself be pulled out from under the recliner for some hugs and lap-time.  Over time we're confident she'll come out of hiding for good -- almost all of them do!!
Update, 6/13:  Sydney came to us because she tested positive for FeLV, however it turned out to be a FALSE POSITIVE.  After three subsequent negative tests, we're confident she's just a "regular" kitty!  She has a cute little head tilt but Jenni can find no physical reason for it.  Sydney now voluntarily approaches people for petting, especially when we're scooping litter.  She also loves being picked up and cuddled!

Special Needs:  None!
