Biography:        Monica was rescued by the Jackson County Humane Society, and she has a very happy story!  When she was at JCHS, she tested positive for feline leukemia, and waited patiently for a month in their isolation room for an opening at Witty Kitties.  When she finally arrived here, we retested her, since false positives do occasionally happen with the FeLV test.  After not one, but TWO RETESTS (several weeks apart), both of which were NEGATIVE, we can say with certainty that she is a healthy, non-infected cat!  Monica wanted to explore her room almost immediately, and is very friendly and loves attention from people.  She moved into our non-retroviral room with barely a blink, and gets along well with all her roommates.  She's very large (almost 12 pounds!) and under two years old, and is hoping to find her forever home very soon.  There's a lot of her to love, and she'll return every bit of lovin' she receives!

Special Needs:  None!
