Bob had been suffering from complications of the feleuk virus (probable lymphoma) for several weeks, so we said our good-byes and helped him over the rainbow bridge on 6/8/10.

Biography:        Bob was a stray who was rescued by a Des Moines family.  They fell in love with him and planned to keep him, but he tested positive for feline leukemia and they didn't want to expose their other cats.  Bob is a large, handsome, black beauty, who took no time at all settling in to his new home.  He is very friendly and gets along with well with all the other cats in his room except Walter.   Which is not too surprising, since Walter is a little bit temperamental.  He's a very confident boy, but still quite playful.  All in all, just one fine cat!!
