Biography:        Buckeye is from the Iowa City Animal Care & Adoption Center.  He came to us with a badly injured eye, which Dr. Jenni removed.  His eye is healing well, and will not be very noticeable once all his fur has grown back.  Buckeye has no problem jumping all over the place with monocular vision -- his favorite places for hanging out are on the highest perches in his room!  He was a little ornery when he came, and actually nipped a few of us.  But since his eye was removed, he hasn't snapped at anyone.  So perhaps it was bothering him more than we thought.  He gets along well with all the other cats in his room, and has become a real love-bug.  He really enjoys being petted, as you can see from his picture!
